Benapole port security guard killed after car runs him over

A security guard of Benapole Port was killed after a private car ran him over at Benapole Bazar in Jashore last night.
The deceased was identified as Fazlur Rahman (60) of Shakaripota village under Benapole Port Police Station, reports our Benapole correspondent.
Witnesses said the private car hit Fazlur in front of Benapole Bazar Rahman Chamber around 11:30pm when he was going to his work place, leaving him dead on the spot.
Abdul Azaiz, officer-in-charge of Benapole Port Police Station, said police recovered the body and sent it to Jashore General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
