The Milford Daily News MEDWAY  Abigail Ross, a 2021 Medway High School graduate, was recently selected as the recipient of the annual Robert and Evelyn Clorite Scholarship. The $600 award is sponsored by the Medway Democratic Town Committee. It s awarded to a graduating high school senior from Medway who writes the best essay discussing every citizen’s role in shaping and participating in our American democracy. The scholarship is named for Robert and Evelyn Clorite, longtime Medway residents, educators and Medway Democratic Town Committee founders. Over the past seven years, the committee has awarded more than $4,200 in scholarships to Medway seniors. Funds for the scholarship come from the proceeds of the Medway Democratic Town Committee food booth during Medway Pride Day.
