KARACHI: The National Mens Throwball Championship will commence at Batakundi in Naran from August 5 under the auspices of Pakistan Throwball Federation (PTF) and in collaboration with Department of Sports and Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa . This was announced by Secretary General, Pakistan Throwball Federation, Maqbool Arian who added that all arrangements of the championship will be finalized in the Organizing Committee meeting on August 1, to be held under the Chairmanship of President KP Throwball Association, Khaliqur Rehman. Maqbool clarified that the National Men and Women Throwball Championships were not played last year due to coronavirus. He said that the invitation letters of the championship have been sent to 12 teams of the country namely Pakistan WAPDA, Pakistan Police, Pakistan Navy, Culligan, Agha Khan Youth Sports Board, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, Islamabad, Azad Jamu Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
