پی ٹی آئی دور میں اسٹیل ملز کو مزید 160 ارب کا نقصان
کراچی(رپورٹ/رفیق بشیر)پاکستان اسٹیل ملز کو بحال کرنے کا وزیر اعظم عمران خان کا نعرہ صرف نعرہ ہی رہ گیا ‘پی ٹی آئی حکومت کے دوران اسٹیل ملز کو مزید 160 ارب روپے قرض اور نقصان کا سامنا کرنا پڑااورادارے کا مجموعی خسارہ 625ارب روپے تک پہنچ گیا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق عمران خان نے اسٹیل ملز میں کھربوں روپے کی کرپشن کرنے والوں کے خلاف کوئی کارروائی کی ہے نہ ہی اسٹیل ملز میں احتساب کا عمل شروع کیا گیا جبکہ ادارے میں پروفیشنل مینجمنٹ کا تعین بھی نہیں کیا گیا‘

‘EOIs for Pakistan Steel to be invited soon’

ISLAMABAD: The government will soon invite expression of interest (EOIs) related to sale of core operating assets to the private sector, privatisation minister said on Friday.
“We are resolving the pending matters in collaboration with the main stakeholders and the EOIs are likely to be invited very soon,” Minister for Privatisation Mohammedmian Soomro said during the fifth Privatisation Commission Board meeting of the current year.
Secretary Privatisation, Pakistan Steel Mills CEO, representative from the ministry of industry and production, PC Board members and senior officers of the ministry attended the meeting.

Federal Minister for Privatisation Mohammed mian Soomro has said that expression of interests (EOIs) for the revival of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) are likely to be invited very soon.
The minister said this while chairing the 5th Privatisation Commission Board meeting of the current year on Friday. Secretary privatisation, CEO PSM, representative from the Ministry of Industry and Production, PC Board members and senior officers of the ministry attended the meeting. The minister said, “We are resolving the pending matters in collaboration with the main stakeholders and the EOIs are likely to be invited very soon.”
The meeting discussed the revival of PSM. The meeting was informed that there are a few corporate actions which are to be performed by the stakeholders including the Ministry of Industries and Pakistan Steel Mills.
