BRCS shares National Day’s joy with children of Al Sanabel Saudi Gazette
MANAMA Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) volunteers participated in the event of Tour with the Children of Al Sanabel Orphans Care Society , organized on the occasion of the glorious National Day of the kingdom of Bahrain.
The event included accompanying orphan children on a motorbike tour by the Bahrain Bikers team and the Freedom Scooter team who organized this event, as children toured through the capital s streets to the Water Garden City in Seef District.
Ali Kadhem, head of public relations committee & member affairs committee of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society, said that participation in this event comes within the framework of the society’s keenness to advance its social responsibility, support the Bahraini community, and celebrate national events in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

BRCS boosts volunteers’ skills in Disaster Management December 14, 2020
In the workshop Bahrain Red Crescent’s volunteers learned about the active and pivotal role of the National Committee in facing disasters.

MANAMA Members of the disaster response teams of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS), attended the 10th workshop on risks and crises to discuss updating the national matrix and establishing joint coordination mechanisms. The workshop was organized remotely by the National Committee for Disaster Response.
During the workshop, Bahrain Red Crescent’s volunteers learned about the active and pivotal role of the National Committee in facing disasters, the role of the media in crises and disasters, the national emergency plan to combat oil pollution, and how to analyze and evaluate the risks that lead to or resulting from disasters.
