The allegations weren t a complete shock for some local females in the industry.
It all started with a post on Reddit.
A former female employee claimed she d faced discrimination while pregnant and working for Boulevard.
She also mentioned instances of other women who were allegedly sexually harassed, claiming upper management didn t properly act on those complaints.
In a matter of days, the post went viral, with multiple women commenting on the Reddit post and Boulevard s Facebook page.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. â Boulevard Brewing CEO Jeff Krum resigned Wednesday amid
backlash against the company following allegations of women facing sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
A representative for Boulevard confirmed the resignation to 41 Action News.
Krum is the third executive to leave the company after another leader, the chief financing officer, was let go Tuesday, 41 Action News confirmed.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - The top executive of Kansas City-based beer maker Boulevard Brewing Company has become the third high-ranking employee to leave since a viral Reddit post accused the company of being a harmful place to work for women.
Jeff Krum, who has led Boulevard since 2016 and worked there for more than 25 years, confirmed his resignation to The Kansas City Star after informing employees in an email Wednesday afternoon.
“As president, one of my oversight responsibilities was to ensure that all our workplaces were free of any form of real or perceived harassment or demonstrations of unwanted attention,” Krum told employees. “Disclosures of recent days make it clear that this was not always achieved.”

KANSAS CITY, Mo. â Boulevard Brewing Company issued a second apology and vowed in a statement on its website to change its workplace culture after a former employee complained about pervasive harassment that went unchecked at the brewery on Southwest Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri.
The company also said Tuesday that it has fired âa company executiveâ and will hire an independent human resources firm to investigate its corporate culture.
