The price to live on Britain’s most expensive street? £30.5m
London still comes top for pricey homes, but places such as Wales and the North are increasingly attracting cash-rich buyers

Britain s most expensive street has been revealed as Avenue Road, in north-west London, where the average house price is £30.5m.
The road, which runs from Regent’s Park to Swiss Cottage in St John s Wood, was crowned the priciest by Lloyds bank.
It has stolen the top spot from last year’s winner, Ilchester Place in London’s Holland Park, where buyers pay on average £17m for a home.
