Among the group were two nurses, who were wine tasting along Old Mission Peninsula.
When the group reached Bonobo Winery, a woman collapsed and hit her head while falling down.
The nurses didn’t feel the woman’s pulse and performed CPR, bringing her back before she was taken to the hospital for apparently experiencing low blood pressure.
The group’s tour bus driver says he couldn’t believe the quick actions the nurses made to save a life.
“One started doing chest compressions, the other started doing mouth to mouth, and within like, a little less than four minutes later, she’d come back around, and she woke up and started apologizing,” said Dan Mackey, Co-Owner of Magic Shuttle Bus. “Yeah, so they brought her back to life basically.”

Since she changed her major to Environmental Studies and Sustainability (ESS) in 2019, Andrea has been eagerly pursuing the sustainability-related work she cares deeply about. For instance, she spent her summer 2020 internship supporting a Michigan business by educating their customers on the ingredients they source for their cosmetics.

Bowers Harbor Vineyards on Old Mission Peninsula takes pride in its eco-friendly growing practices and its family and dog friendly vineyard.
Whitney Amann and photojournalist Jeremy Erickson take you to Bowers Harbor to check out some of the new wines they are releasing this year.
“I think a number of us were probably overlooking the asset that we have right out here outside and we noticed that particularly when we started our outdoor service a number of years ago, the outstanding response to all of our visitors is that they love being outside and they feel very safe, and just think it’s a new trend that we’re going to see for the years to come,” said owner Spencer Stegenga.
