Cases heard at Salisbury and Swindon Magistrates courts

SOME of the recent cases heard at Salisbury Magistrates Court are listed below: REENA DORE, aged 35, of Castle Lane, Whaddon, pleaded guilty to two driving offences that took place in Salisbury. On October 18 last year Dore was driving a Honda along The Crescent with 51 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - exceeding the legal alcohol limit. She was also driving without the appropriate policy of insurance. In total Dore was fined £1,115 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £112 and costs of £85. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months. CARMEN FAUTLEY, aged 44, of Cedar Close, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to intentionally damaging another person’s Volkswagen Polo in Salisbury on October 13 last year. On the same day she intentionally damaged windows belonging to someone else. February sunny weekend: Spring-like weather in Salisbury

Salisbury residents have made the most of the sunshine this weekend as the city, and much of the country, was treated to spring-like weather. Churchfield Gardens, Old Sarum and Lords Walk were popular destinations for a stroll in the sunshine as temperature reached highs of 12 degrees. Lockdown rules mean people should only leave home to shop for essentials, go to work or go for daily exercise.  The spring-like conditions inspired many to go on walks and spend time outdoors. Becky Albiston shared this picture of her dog, also enjoying the sunny weather at the park. Ali Queenie Race posted the picture below taken during her walk in Churchfield Gardens.
