LIMA The Shawnee Optimist Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 4 at Old Barn Restaurant and Grill, 3175 W. Elm St., Lima.
Winners of the oratorical and essay contests will be recognized, and the first-place winners of each will speak.
The meetings are planned to return to Wednesdays beginning in April.
