Invizius Closes £5 3M Series A Financing

Invizius Limited, a Motherwell, Scotland, UK-based biotechnology company developing treatments to suppress unwanted innate immune responses, closed Series A financing of £5.3m. The round was led by existing investors Mercia, Downing Ventures, Old College Capital, Scottish Enterprise, Solvay Ventures and new investors Calculus Capital and experienced life science entrepreneur and investor, Dr Jonathan Milner. Coatbridge flat fire caught on camera as occupants flee blaze

A spokesperson for the fire service said that crews remained in attendance and confirmed they were called at 12.52pm to reports the ground floor flat was ablaze.  A police spokesman said: We were made aware of a fire at a property on Sikeside Street in Coatbridge by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service around 1pm on Tuesday, 4 May.
