The Beatson’s Bard and his Belles event, streamed live from Crossbasket Castle in Blantyre on Friday, January 22, will be hosted by broadcaster Alison Walker. Special guests on the night include comedian and actor Karen Dunbar and TV presenter Hazel Irvine. Eric Davidson, who is recognised as one of Scotland’s after-dinner finest speakers, will be presenting his talk, entitled, Yes Sir, Burns Can Boogie. As well as a packed programme of Burns poems, songs and tributes, the bill will include music from the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.
