Schools Closing Early Tuesday

Cheshire Public Schools will have an early dismissal today, as inclement weather is expected to arrive in Connecticut sometime this afternoon.
Superintendent of Schools Jeff Solan made the announcement this morning.
“We are having an early dismissal becasue of the impending snow,” Solan said. “Surrounding districts are doing the same as well.”
The snow is expected to start falling around 1 p.m. and go until early Wednesday, Jan. 27.
Solan did not comment on if school will continue as scheduled on Wednesday.

CHESHIRE â Superintendent of Schools Jeff Solan 2021-2022 operating budget calls for an approximately $4 million increase over the current fiscal year.
