AP Govt New Initiatives To Prevent School Dropouts: Clean Toilets, App To Monitor Attendance Jan 18, 2021, 15:59 IST Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to consider maintenance of toilets  as top priority and ensure clean toilets in all schools from February 1. During a review meeting held here on Monday, the Chief Minister said maintenance of toilets should be considered as top priority as many  students are not able to go to  schools due to absence or poor maintenance of toilets. He said clean toilets should be made available for students. He told  the officials to take measures to take up repairs as soon as possible and added  plumbing and sanitary issues should be solved as soon as possible. He directed the officials to prepare an  SOP on maintenance of toilets in the schools.

CM Reviews Village, Ward Secretariats Dec 23, 2020, 17:27 IST Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to monitor the performance of the employees of Village and Ward secretariats and ensure that the secretariats work efficiently. During a review meeting on Village/ ward secretariats here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said that 1902 Call Centre number must be displayed at every village/ward secretariat and this setup is for the registration of public issues and grievances. This arrangement would be useful to get feedback on the performance of the staff of the Secretariats, he said. The Chief Minister directed the officials to make arrangements as the duties of sub registrars are also to be carried out within the Village Secretariat.
