Motorcycle crash victim identified | News, Sports, Jobs

Apr 29, 2021 Daylene A. Gladue, 42, has been identified by the North Dakota Highway Patrol as the female killed in a motorcycle crash last Sunday in Minot. Gladue was a passenger on a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Harry Hughes Jr. 42, Minot, that struck a lighted railroad crossing arm that was down on Valley Street in Minot. Gladue and Hughes both struck their heads on the crossing arm. Neither person was wearing a helmet. The crash occurred at 9:50 p.m. Hughes was charged with vehicular homicide as a result of the accident and is currently in the Ward County jail. His bond was set at $250,000.

The new Adopt-a-Storm Drain Program, a partnership with the city of Asheville s Public Works Stormwater Division, covers central Asheville, from downtown to the River Arts District and the East-End/Valley Street, Southside Community and West-End Clingman Avenue neighborhoods, according to a release. Hillsborough County s jail inspection reports, filed with the New Hampshire Attorney General s office, have looked essentially identical for years. When Hillsborough County Commissioner Toni Pappas toured the Valley Street Jail in Manchester last December, as she and fellow commissioners are required to do at least twice a year, she didn’t appear to find any cause for concern. “I have found the condition of the facility, the security of the inmates, and the management to be in order,” Pappas wrote in an inspection report filed with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. “The inmates are being cared for pursuant to [state law], and are appropriately supervised by trained correctional staff.”
