In an art­icle in the Nature journal Communications Earth & Environment, Dr. Mat­thias Prange of MARUM – Cen­ter for Mar­ine En­vir­on­mental Sci­ences at the Uni­versity of Bre­men, and his col­leagues dis­cuss the pos­sible eco­lo­gical, polit­ical and eco­nomic con­sequences, as well as vi­able solu­tions.
