The author of the book is the experienced Nasser Khan. The book will also be donated to the National Archives, the University of the West Indies and the University of Trinidad and Tobago.

For many years there have been mere conversations about the topic, but nothing has materialised. The discussions continued on Thursday, as marketing and events co-ordinator Kevon McKenna, who was hired by the Tobago Festivals Commission Ltd (TFCL) as a consultant, hosted a second virtual stakeholders’ conversation to discuss the issue. Although the world is still going through the covid19 pandemic, stakeholders are hopeful a proposal can be made for 2022.

CONFIRMATION of a second covid19 case at the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) Tamana campus has shut down the facility for this coming week. The EBI facility was initially closed last Thursday for sanitising after a case was identified there. EBI staff were asked to stay away for 24 hours and the facility was scheduled to reopen on Friday April 9. In a release on Sunday, the UTT said out of an abundance of caution and for the welfare of all employees and stakeholders, the entire facility will be closed for the week of April 12 to April 16.
