As if we didn’t have enough to worry about, now there’s word that obesity increases the risk of early hip fracture in postmenopausal women. In fact, obese women have an increased risk of hip fracture earlier than others according to a new study from the University of Eastern Findland which shows these fractures can occur well before the age of 70.
