Chattanooga FC Adds Players Just Ahead Of NISA Legends Cup
CFC Faces Off With Los Angeles Force Tuesday Night Monday, April 12, 2021
Chattanooga Football Club is strengthening its roster in advance of the 2021 spring season, signing defender Kaio DaSilva and Brett Jones to the club just as the NISA Legends Cup gets underway tomorrow.
Kaio DaSilva is a 6’4” defender who excelled as a two sport athlete at UAlbany. In two seasons, DaSilva played in 34 matches for the Great Danes, starting 23 games, and netting six goals with six assists.
“We are excited to welcome Kaio DaSilva to Chattanooga Football Club!” said Head Coach Peter Fuller. “We are looking for Kaio to strengthen our depth in the back. He has solid defensive instincts and excellent long passing quality.”

Dr. Lindsay Howard earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from
Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa., and a bachelor of science in integrative neuroscience from
Binghamton University.
Dr. Howard completed her residency in psychiatry at
Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. During her training, she served as a chief resident.
A native of Oswego, prior to returning to Central New York she worked in an outpatient clinic in Portland. During this time, she provided medication management, psychotherapy, and transcranial magnetic stimulation. Dr. Howard was board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2020.

GROTON, CT From what s described as a talented and diverse pool, Groton Town Police welcomed two new police officers to its ranks Friday.
Officer Daniel Fortunato and officer Sharif Afifi are set to begin six months of training at the Connecticut Police Academy and after, will be assigned to the patrol division where they both will complete their initial police officer field training, police noted in a Facebook post.
Fortunato, a New York native, attended Utica College and the University of Albany.

Afifi, of Guilford, begins his new career as a police officer after years working in the human resources field. He holds a bachelors and an MBA from Indiana State University.
