PHILADELPHIA - The NFL announced the dates for the offseason programs of its 32 member teams on Thursday, including the Eagles.
It s back to business for the league despite the NFLPA s fight to keep the 2020 COVID-19 restrictions in place and again turn the offseason into a virtual workplace.
On the surface at least the Eagles’ veterans have decided to back the union s position to stay away from voluntary work, although those with bonuses tied to participating have been quietly told not to worry about the public position and feel free to work at the NovaCare Complex and other facilities around the league, a union source told SI.com s Eagle Maven.

PHILADELPHIA - The work didn t end when the draft did for the Eagles personnel department which began to cobble together its undrafted free agency class Saturday night.
The biggest gets reported so far are former Wake Forest and Georgia quarterback Jamie Newman and a pair of lengthy receivers he can throw to: Florida s Trevon Grimes and Texas A&M s Jhamon Ausbon.
Newman, the former Wake Forest starter who transferred to Georgia only to opt out this past season because of COVID-19 concerns, was regarded as a draftable commodity by most and currently would fit in as the Eagles third quarterback behind second-year starter Jalen Hurts and veteran backup Joe Flacco.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The most anticipated night in sports kicked-off on Thursday night. The first round of the 2021 NFL draft took place, and football fans in Lincoln had to celebrate. Capital Cigar Lounge hosted a watch party.
“You know we wanted to do something for the community to make it really fun,” Capital Cigar Lounge CEO Tony Goins said. “This was it right here at the Capitol Cigar Lounge.”
The night featured special guests as well. Former NFL running back Steven Jackson and Nebraska football defensive backs coach Travis Fisher were in attendance.
