UTICA, N.Y. - The Utica Comets heavily outshot the Syracuse Crunch for the second night in a row, and earned a similar result with a 3-2 win over their Galaxy Cup rivals at the Adirondack Bank Center, Wednesday.
Just like on Tuesday night, the Crunch jumped out to a 1-0 lead thanks to a goal from Taylor Raddysh in the first period.

Hofer s first pro win helps Comets to rally past Crunch
Comets goalie Joel Hofer registered his first professional win in his third pro start to help the team to a 5-1 win over the Crunch at the Aud.

UTICA, N.Y. - Utica Comets goalie Joel Hofer, a St. Louis Blues prospect, notched his first professional win as the team rallied with five unanswered goals in the final two periods to beat the Syracuse Crunch 5-1 at the Adirondack Bank Center, Tuesday.
The Comets spent half of the opening frame shorthanded taking five penalties, but the Crunch took a 1-0 lead into the locker room on a short-handed goal by Taylor Raddysh. Syracuse outshot Utica 14-9, but Hofer made a few key saves to keep it a one-goal game.

Syracuse, N.Y. The Syracuse Crunch rolled past the Utica Comets, 5-1, Saturday at the Upstate Medical University Arena.
Nine different Crunch players earned a point as the team advances to 10-6-1-0 on the season and 2-2-0-0 in the 14-game season series against the Comets.
Crunch goaltender Sam Montembeault earned his fifth-consecutive win turning aside 24-of-25 shots. Comets goaltender Joel Hofer stopped 28-of-33. Syracuse went 1-for-3 on the power play and 5-for-6 on the penalty kill.
The Crunch opened scoring just 17 seconds into the game when Taylor Raddysh chipped a rebound in back door. Syracuse then doubled up the Comets at 16:41 off a quick shot from Devante Stephens in the left circle.
