A total of five Petes players were named to the NHL Central Scout Final Ranks ahead of the upcoming Entry Draft.
Forwards Mason McTavish, Tucker Robertson, Jon-Randall Avon and defenceman Artem Guryev and Brian Zanetti were recognized.
McTavish is ranked second amongst all North American Skaters and is the highest rated forward on the NHL Central Scouting list. The Petes 5th overall pick from the 2019 OHL Priority Selection, was loaned to the EHC Olten of the Swiss League while the OHL awaited the start of the 2020-21 season. While playing overseas, McTavish amassed 11 points (nine goals, two assists) in 13 regular season games and seven points (two goals, five assists) in four playoff games.

Some Cloquet Bar Owners Want Liquor License Relief for When Pandemic Dried Sales
While they re seeking a prorated or discounted fee, the City says reducing the liquor license fee would have other repercussions.

CLOQUET, Minn.- After months of pandemic-related shutdowns and restrictions where some or all of their establishments sat unused, some bar and restaurant owners in Cloquet are asking the City Administration for a break in liquor license fees.
“Quite honestly at this point we’re just asking them to help us with something. Whether it be prorated by day, prorated by month, give us a little discount,” said Adam Bailey, owner of the Jack Bar on Cloquet Avenue.
MIDCOAST A total of 163 businesses in Knox and Waldo counties received aid money from the Maine Tourism, Hospitality and Retail Recovery Grant program.
Funding for the program originated from the federal Coronavirus Relief Fund with funding being provided to the first 2,500 approved applications from eligible tourism, hospitality and retail businesses in the industries of accommodation and food services; breweries; wineries; distilleries; retail trade; arts; entertainment; and recreation.
Applicants must have gross sales between $24,000 and $12 million annually and suffered a 20% or greater loss in gross sales as reported to the Maine Revenue Services on sales tax returns comparing either March 2019 through September 2019 to March 2020 through September 2020, for monthly filers, or April 2019 through September 2019 to April 2020 through September 2020, for quarterly filers.
