Israel currently has 83,611 active cases; 3,959 people have died. In the West Bank, there are 6,802 active cases and 1,348 deaths, and in Gaza 7,000 active cases and 464 deaths.

8:12 A.M. Israeli Health Ministry releases latest coronavirus numbers
8,398 Israelis tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Israeli Health Ministry Saturday night. 1,184 coronavirus patients are in critical condition.
Authorities in Israel, as well as the West Bank and Gaza, are grappling with the current increase in coronavirus cases, which has prompted directives to curb its spread but also an effort to mitigate the economic consequences of the crisis.
Israel has entered a third nationwide lockdown, and has severely limited the entry of foreigners into the country as cases continue to spike. Israel also announced that anybody arriving from abroad will be required to immediately get a coronavirus test and quarantine at home for two weeks.
Israel currently has 49,506 active cases; 3,392 people have died. In the West Bank, there are 10,108 active cases and 1,186 deaths, and in Gaza 9,816 active cases and 386 deaths.

2:04 P.M. Assisted living home staff to be vaccinated
Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv will inoculate the tenants and staff of assisted living facilities in Tel Aviv. This is a large campaign that will cover about 40 facilities in the city, covering about 8,000 people and a total of about 16,000 vaccines. Ichilov staff will deploy a large contingent of nursing staff to visit each facility at least four times during the campaign. (
