To be included on the Dean s List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt said in 1940, “We must be the great arsenal of democracy” in a speech calling for materiel support for Great Britain and China in their war against Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. He knew what all commanders know. You can have as many top-notch soldiers as you like, but if you don’t have enough food, enough supplies, enough weapons for those soldiers, you’ve lost the war. This simple fact played a major role in our local economy, far as we are from Pittsburgh and Dearborn.
Point Pleasant River Museum

Museum staff broke ground on Monday for a new building to house the Point Pleasant River Museum and Lakin Ray Cook Learning Center.
Following a fire that gutted the Old Nease Building, the previous home of the museum, the museum staff has been working to raise funds for a new building.

“Once it is built and fully operational, you re going to be able to experience a ‘wow.’” said James McCormick, executive director of the museum. “You re going to learn things about the history of the museum, the history of the river.”

Over the years there have been some pretty memorable contestants on the show that have hailed from Devon and Cornwall.
From surfing models, having babies, national controversy and their own brands these islanders have been keeping busy since leaving the villa. The eight-week show is usually filmed in Majorca but with coronavirus travel restrictions the show is being filmed closer to home. A TV source told the Sun that when it comes to where the show may be filmed Cornwall has been optioned, as well as Torquay, the Isles of Scilly and even Barry Island
