A group of local and area officials gathered on Tuesday, May 18 as the Cohasset Housing Authority cut the ribbon at their latest development, “Kate’s House.” In 2007, Catherine “Kate” Luna, former Managing Director of the Cohasset Housing Authority, had the idea to sell off the Trettis House and subdivide the land it sat on to create a new home for adults with disabilities. Luna’s idea was met with resistance at first, eliciting skepticism from other members of the CHA and an outright lack of support from the Department of Housing and Community Development.
