Fernand Courchesne completed another gruelling challenge on Sunday, running a double marathon to raise awareness, and donations, for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

FAIRFIELD, CT - (From Shaughnessy Banks Funeral Home) Morton Levinson, 89 of Fairfield, the beloved husband of the late Sally Levinson, died peacefully at home on Monday, May 17, 2021.
He was the only child of Samuel and Ethel (Klein) Levinson, who provided an amazing family life in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport. Sam & Ethel owned and operated Sam s Place a bar/restaurant where Ethel cooked and Sam ran the thriving bar. Mort spent much of his childhood days playing all kinds of sports with the neighborhood kids.
Mort served proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War, where he ran electronics for the pilots on the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge. He tried out and made the Navy s fast pitch softball team and played many competitive games while stationed in the Philippines.
