Paraguayan experts admit mistake in using Chinese vaccines
Asunción, Apr 15 (Prensa Latina) Paraguayan authorities admitted there was a programmatic mistake in the application of two different Chinese Covid-19 vaccine doses in a medical center in this capital.
The problem was due to a mistake caused by the Barrio Obrero Hospital, which applied the second Sinopharm vaccine doses to 48 health professionals who had previously received the first Coronavac shot, officials said.
The mistake caused the removal from office of Director Luis Villalba, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Welfare Hernán Martínez and Director of Immunization Héctor Castro told at a press conference.
