That s the reported date on which
Full Tilt Poker, its former arch rival, for good. The news was first released by
Pokerfuse and is confirmed by a FAQ page on PokerStars website detailing some of the minutiae of the move for its remaining FTP players.
Those players will essentially just be migrating over to the main skin of the network, so there won t be much meaningful change in their playing experience. Our commitment to improving PokerStars software and the PokerStars customer experience in recent years has limited the amount of focus and resources we could apply to the evolution of Full Tilt, the company stated. We feel it is time to consolidate brands so that everyone has access to the newest features and most innovative games which are available exclusively on PokerStars.
1996 WSOP Main Event Champion Huck Seed Inducted Into The Poker Hall Of Fame
by Steve Schult | Published: Feb 10, 2021
Shortly before the new year, the World Series of Poker announced that veteran poker pro Huck Seed has become the newest member of the Poker Hall of Fame.
The 51-year-old Seed, whose first recorded tournament score came back in 1990, has racked up nearly $7.65 million in live tournament earnings over the course of his three-decade career, including a $1 million payday for his victory in the 1996 WSOP main event.
Along with the WSOP gold he won from his breakthrough score in 1996, Seed also won bracelets in the 1994 $2,500 pot-limit Omaha event, the 2000 $1,500 razz event, and the 2003 $5,000 razz event. He also made the main event final table again, finishing sixth in 1999. Seed continued to prove his well-rounded poker abilities by cashing in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship three times as well.

I have read a little bit of information about eye tells. If you know what people are looking for in eye tells, you can make sure that you do not do it in your game making glasses unnecessary. I think people wear them mostly for show now.
Doug Polk Critical of Poker Hall of Fame Selection Process

Doug Polk is highly critical of the Poker Hall of Fame, and he isn’t the only one after seeing the results of the recent nomination. Polk didn’t specifically criticize the voters for inducting Huck Seed, but he isn’t too thrilled with the final results of the voting.

Seed was the top selection of the 30 living members of the Poker Hall of Fame, the only ones who were eligible to vote this year. The 1996 WSOP Main Event champ was a surprise selection. Many poker players predicted Isai Scheinberg, Patrik Antonius, or Antonio Esfandiari would win. Polk was quite surprised as well.

Seed was one of 10 finalists for the prestigious award. Since 2005, the WSOP has inducted two members each year, until this year. As Ty Stewart explained to CardsChat last month, by limiting the number of members, they increase the prestige of the club.
Seed certainly wasn’t the favorite, but he’s received high praise from the poker community for his honor. That includes Daniel Negreanu, who openly lobbied for Isai Scheinberg, the PokerStars founder.
