A Gold Coast factory has been gutted by fire on Thursday afternoon, as multiple firefighters responded to calls of an explosion.
Emergency services were called to Township Drive in Burleigh Heads about 2pm to respond to a factory fire.

The industrial factory was one of eight on the property.
Nine Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews were on scene and black plumes of smoke were seen billowing into the air above the Gold Coast Highway.

Criminal lawyer Campbell MacCallum was already the subject of a Crime and Corruption Commission investigation when Craig Mitchell Armstrong faced court in May 2020.
Armstrong received a 20-month sentence and took advantage of immediate parole by allegedly organising cocaine within a matter of hours , the Brisbane Supreme Court was told on Monday.
Armstrong, 27, pleaded guilty to trafficking, drug possession and possessing tainted property.
