Suspect jailed for endangering kids
According to the arrest warrant:
In December, Burkburnett Police were sent to an address on West 3rd Street for a criminal mischief complaint. A woman said she had recently broken up with her live-in boyfriend, Gerrod Robinson.
The woman said Robinson had tried to contact her by cell phone and text messages, but she ignored him. She said she and her four children were watching a movie when Robinson arrived and tried to talk to her through a window he had previously broken out. After telling one of her kids to get away from the window she tried to ignore Robinson, but Robinson began to yell and threaten, “I’m going to break out the window with a brick.” The woman was startled by the loud breaking/shattering noise of glass from a front window.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - The Friberg-Cooper Volunteer Fire Department has a new tool in their arsenal.
That department serves the area of Cashion Community near Sheppard Air Force Base and they have acquired a new water tender.
A water tender is a vehicle they use to get water from something like a lake or pond to a fire.
They’ve already used it during a mutual aid call with Burkburnett’s VFD.

A line stretching down the block from the Wichita County Tax Office recently could be the situation for many Texans facing an April 14 deadline for vehicle registration and title work.
The pandemic led to temporary relief from the chores of registration and title work. Gov. Greg Abbott waived requirements in March 2020 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
But the waiver ends at 11:59 p.m. April 14. That s the deadline no grace period.
Wichita County Tax Assessor and Collector Tommy Smyth is urging residents to take advantage of the window of opportunity soon slamming shut to avoid additional costs. We are trying OUR BEST to save you the expense of penalties and late fees on registrations and especially title work, Smyth said in a media release Tuesday.
