Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences is opening its hotel, signature bar and one of its main restaurants next month.
The hotel, Chandelier Bar and “Miss River,” a restaurant led by New Orleans chef Alon Shaya, will open to the public Aug. 17, said Brad Packer, hotel spokesman. Room availability starts Sept. 1.
The $500 million redevelopment of the former World Trade Center at the foot of Canal Street began construction in 2018.
The Chandelier Bar is located on the lower levels of the building and includes a namesake custom chandelier with 15,000 crystals in it.
Miss River is on the lobby level and offers signature dishes including whole carved buttermilk fried chicken; dirty rice with seared duck breast, duck egg yolk and scallions; Louisiana oyster patty with flaky puff pastry, caramelised shiitake mushrooms and citrus zest; and salt-crusted Gulf red snapper.
