One of nine siblings, Donald Vogt had a bigger family than most. Yet his heart still had room for more, including his father-in-law, Daniel Mazzille. They were best friends, Danielle Vogt said of her dad and grandfather.
Exactly one year after her father s death at 70 on April 17, 2020, her family will attend a memorial mass for both of them at Holy Rosary Church in Jersey City. Mazzille had died just a few weeks earlier, on March 29, 2020. He was 98.

LOWELLVILLE Richard L. Sfara, 79, passed away Thursday morning, March 25, 2021.
Richard was born March 7, 1942, in Youngstown, the son of Louis R. Sfara and Stella Greeks. His dad fought and was killed during World War II at the Battle of the Bulge.
He worked for more than 33 years at the steel mill. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and the National Guard.
Richard liked to work out and spent time with his family.
Richard is survived by his two sons, Louis and Richard; their mother, Charmaine Sfara; and a brother, Ronald Sfara.
Besides his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his daughter, Bernadette DeGennaro.
