Need a taste of Greek hot kielbasa and kraut? How about a slice of spanakopita, tiro pita or a dozen perohi? They’ll all be available at Holy Assumption Orthodox Church, 110 E. Main St., Marblehead on Holy Assumption Market Days on Saturday, July 10 and Saturday, July 24 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
If that isn’t enough, you’d better mark your calendar with the popular Halupki Festival at the Holy Assumption Church. But for that annual festival, you will have to wait until Sunday, Aug. 15.
For now, all of those Greek sandwiches, Greek spinach and feta pie, as well as Greek cheese pie and potato and cheese dumplings will be available on those Saturdays in July. Also featured will be cinnamon buns, nut horns, poppy seed rolls, nut rolls, kolachi, baklava and giant cookies.
