New to Medicare
WILLMAR Senior LinkAge Line will have a virtual class from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, for people who will be new to Medicare and would like to learn about Medicare Parts A, B, C and D. Topics will include a comprehensive introduction to Medicare including what Medicare covers, supplemental insurance and Part D prescription coverage. During the class you will learn the Medicare enrollment details, how to get the most from your benefits and how to research your Medicare plan options using the Medicare.gov site. Give Kids a Smile
WILLMAR The annual Give Kids a Smile charity event will be held in two locations in the West Central Tribune area on Feb. 5. More than 1,000 dentists in Minnesota will provide 100% free dental care to children in need. Green Lake Dental in Spicer will have its clinic from 8 a.m. to noon. Call 320-796-2158 to make an appointment. Carris Health Dental Clinic will have its clinic from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment for your child, call 320-2214-2620. Appointments fill up quickly.
airBaltic Establishes Maintenance Training Organization
(25 Jan 2021) The Latvian airline, airBaltic, has received certification for its newly established Maintenance Training Organization that, being a part of airBaltic Training, will provide training and certification for aircraft technicians.
The airBaltic Maintenance Training Organization will be divided in two categories, providing basic training for professionals without previous aviation experience and providing aircraft type-related training focusing on the Airbus A220.
The first two groups of students will begin familiarization training in early February. Each of the initial groups will have around eight students each. airBaltic technicians have been attracted to the program as the instructors.
