Missing Baraboo child found safe

BARABOO, Wis. Baraboo police have asked for the public’s help with finding a child who went missing Thursday afternoon.
Brayden Peterson was last seen at around 1:30 p.m. at the playground of Al Behrman Elementary School on 400 Mulberry St. According to a Facebook post from the police department, the boy frequents local parks on Baraboo’s south side with other kids in the neighborhood.
Brayden is roughly 4 feet tall, weighs 100 pounds and has blue eyes and blond hair which is styled into a mohawk. He was also wearing black shorts, a maroon long sleeve shirt and flip flops.

UPDATE: Missing veteran found, Green Alert cancelled

MADISON, Wis. Authorities have made contact with a missing veteran after issuing a Green Alert Thursday afternoon.
Officials with the Baraboo Police Department said 35-year-old Sean D. Hitchcock was last seen in Madison last week. They issued a follow up message around 2:30 p.m. Thursday saying they have made contact with Hitchcock.
Police did not say what condition they found Hitchcock in.
Authorities are asking the public for help with locating a missing veteran who was last seen on Feb. 17.

MADISON, Wis. - A Green Alert, issued for missing veteran Sean Hitchcock, 35, was canceled around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25. Authorities said contact was made with Hitchcock roughly 50 minutes after the alert was issued.
Police said Hitchcock was last seen in Madison on Feb. 17 and was missing from the Madison/Baraboo area. Police said he had not been in contact with family or his VA resources for over a week.
