Happy Tuesday, everyone. You probably saw Baylor whip Gonzaga in surprising fashion to take the NCAA Tournament title last night. The Bears were just too athletic and physical for the Zags to handle. Congratulations to them on their first ever title, especially former Alabama enrollee Jared Butler, who walked away with the Most Outstanding Player award. What might have been, eh?
The Fail Room was featured on a Jeopardy question last night.
Aaron Rodgers was a little stiff as the host. He reportedly wants to be a permanent in the role and believes he can juggle it with NFL duties, but I’m not seeing it.
Bryce Young was one of the top quarterback recruits in the nation. With that being said, it is no surprise that he ended up at the University of Alabama to play under Coach Saban. Last season, Young played second to Mac Jones as a freshman. With Mac Jones leaving and the team being fresh off of a National Championship win, the Crimson Tide needs someone to step up at the quarterback position.

Based on what Coach Saban and some of the players have said, Young has looked very good throughout spring practice. I thought Bryce did a really good job of managing the game and was accurate with the ball. I think he did a great job overall of managing the offense when he was in there, says Coach Saban.

Ethan Nation already had 35 scholarship offers to his name but, arguably, the most important one of his recruitment came early last week from the University of Alabama.
The 2023 defensive back prospect from Roswell High School in Georgia received the news from one of the Crimson Tide s newest assistants in jay Valai. My dad told me to call Coach Valai, Nation told Bama Central. And I m thinking we are just going to have a normal conversation. Me and Coach Valai started talking and he complimented my game. He said he loves my ball skills, my tracking skills and how I can tell what s going to happen before it does. So at the end of the call, he says he wants to extend an offer to me.

Nick Saban is arguably the greatest college football coach ever. If someone wants to criticize him and you know there are people who love to you really have to go back to his time in the NFL to find some ammo.
Saban coached the Miami Dolphins in 2005 and 2006. His team went 9-7 in 2005 and then 6-10 in 2006, which is the only losing record he has ever had as a head coach.
Critics say Saban failed in the NFL and that his style didn’t work in the pros. But one person feels differently.
