KINGSTON problems with customer-owned equipment is being blamed for a power outage that left 10,000 Utilities Kingston customers in the dark Friday morning.
And the public utility warned late Friday morning that additional power outages could occur until the problem is completely resolved.

The area affected was roughly south of Princess Street, east of the Little Cataraqui River to the Queen’s University area.
