Saint Peter s University Hospital partners with East Brunswick Public Library, located on 2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive, to present the online program, Asthma: Finding the Ease in Your Wheeze, on Friday, May 7 at 12:00 p.m. via Zoom.
This virtual presentation provides an overview of asthma, including what asthma is, the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, as well as conditions and environmental factors that can contribute to asthma symptoms. Asthma: Finding the Ease in Your Wheeze is led by Denise Kosnar, APN, and Robin Bergeron, PA-C, from the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Saint Peter s University Hospital in New Brunswick. As an advance nurse practitioner and certified physician assistant, respectively, Kosnar and Bergeron see patients independently and are passionate about assisting patients in obtaining and maintaining asthma control.

Santa Monica Travel & Tourism s nonprofit foundation Santa MoniCARES presented Heal the Bay with a $5,000 check during a partner based Earth Day Beach Clean Up at the seaside aquarium under the Santa Monica Pier on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
Joining in the Earth Day celebration and $5,000 check presentation was Sue Himmelrich, Mayor, City of Santa Monica; Marslaidh Ryan, Director, Heal the Bay Aquarium; and Ellis O Connor, Santa MoniCARES board member.

WCSU to celebrate Western Research Week on May 3 through 6 Annual showcase of student research goes virtual this year in four-day event
DANBURY, CONN. Western Connecticut State University will renew and reimagine the popular tradition of celebrating student research at the close of each academic year with the online presentation of Western Research Week as a four-day virtual event from May 3 through 6.
After a hiatus in 2020 forced by the university s closure last spring at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, WCSU has transformed the annual Western Research Day tradition begun in 2005 into this year s Western Research Week, a series of Zoom sessions streaming live beginning at 4 p.m. each afternoon during the four-day program.
