“Bonus” units now allowed in single-family zones within a half-mile of a transit corridor far exceed state law requirements, won’t pay developer impact fees nor provide parking, and are virtually unlimited in number. The notable flaw in the article, assignable to editors, is the repeated misleading use of the term “granny flat.” A granny flat is one additional unit on a single family lot. Two additional units are already permitted by state law.

It was April 11, 2009, when two turkey hunters were walking through the quiet, desolate woods of the Deep Creek Hunting Club in Bryceville and they found something. Something human.
A skull and leg bone were lying on the ground.
The Nassau County Sheriff’s office took possession of the bones, but no DNA matches came back. They then tried to do a facial reconstruction sketch and released it to the local news, but still, no leads came in.

Schroders Personal Wealth has hired two personal wealth advisers, Pamela Wilson and Steven Crothers, from Moore Stephens Financial Services and True Potential respectively.
Wilson has more than 25 years of financial services experience, having also held roles at Danske Bank, Prudential and accountancy McClure Watters, while Crothers has 30 years’ experience including 10 years spent at Lloyds Bank Private Banking as well as stints at Santander and Allied Dunbar.
Global asset manager names Singapore CEO, as UK IFA firm hires advising partner

The global asset manager promotes Lily Choh as chief executive of Singapore.
She was previously deputy chief executive of Schroders Singapore and head of institutional of Asia Pacific.
Choh will transition out of her dual role as head of institutional for Apac by the end of the year.
She succeeds Susan Soh, who as chief executive of Schroders Singapore for the last 14 years.
Also, the firm’s UK financial advice joint venture, Schroders Personal Wealth (SPW), has hired two personal wealth advisers as it looks to expand into Northern Ireland.
