Palm Springs International Film Festival Sets Dates for 2022 Edition

The Palm Springs International Film Festival Society has revealed the dates for the 33rd annual Palm Springs International Film Festival.
After a year scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic, PSIFF will return and run through Jan. 6-17, 2022. The industry-favored Film Awards Gala is set for Jan. 6, 2022, at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
The 2021 installment did not take place as an in-person event though honorees like Riz Ahmed, Viola Davis, Andra Day, Anthony Hopkins, Daniel Kaluuya, Carey Mulligan, Leslie Odom Jr., Gary Oldman, Chloe Zhao and the cast of
2022 Palm Springs International Film Festival dates announced
The Palm Springs International Film Festival will return on Thursday, January 6, 2022 through Monday, January 17, 2022.
The Palm Springs International Film Festival Society announced that the Film Awards Gala will take place on January 6 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
Film screenings will start on Friday, January 7 including the Opening Night presentation that evening and will conclude with Best of Fest on January 17.

Palm Springs ShortFest is still scheduled for June 22-28, 2021, more details are expected to be unveiled later this month.

Singer Jennifer Lopez and former New York Yankees baseball star Alex Rodriguez have called off their engagement, US media reported on Friday.
Lopez, 51, and Rodriguez, 45, had been a couple for nearly four years and had just last year bought a $40 million home in Miami.
