A man in his 70s and a woman in her 60s from the Northern Beaches are close contacts of each other and both returned positive tests today.
The pair visited a number of cafes and beaches at the weekend, NSW Health said.

People who have attended the following venues are considered close contacts and should get tested and isolate for 14 days even if they receive a negative result.

The West Australian government has ordered anyone who has arrived in the state from NSW since December 11 to immediately self-quarantine.
And WA effectively shut its border to NSW from midnight on Thursday after a jump in number of locally acquired COVID-19 cases in NSW.
Premier Mark McGowan said WA was very concerned there would be many more cases in NSW as it moved swiftly to shut the border.
Anyone who arrives in WA from NSW from midnight on Thursday will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days in a move that will play havoc with the Christmas travel plans of thousands of people.
