Outta Sight: Flagler Auditorium Celebrates Community with Covid-Conscious Concert Series

Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. with pre-concert entertainment at 5:30 p.m. When the Cherry Drops, that retro-ish pop-rock band fronted by Flagler Beach singer Vern Shank, perform at Flagler Auditorium on Feb. 27, the socially-distanced audience will be treated to the groovy vibe that has caught the ears of Little Steven Van Zandt – yes, Bruce Springsteen’s guitarist and the actor who portrayed mob capo Silvio Dante on “The Sopranos.”

Last week was a week of celebration and honors on all our campuses! It was National School Counseling Week so the great work our guidance counselors do was recognized and honored, and Friday was School Crossing Guard Appreciation Day. If you get a chance, thank one of our crossing guards. They’re out there in rain and sun, hot and cold, and always with a great attitude!

Robert Bossardet named interim principal at Flagler Palm Coast High School

3 months ago Share Bossardet has been serving as the district’s Executive Director of Leadership Development, and will continue in that position as well. by: Flagler Schools Flagler Schools Superintendent Cathy Mittelstadt announced Jan. 7 that Robert Bossardet, the district’s Executive Director of Leadership Development will also become the interim principal of Flagler-Palm Coast High School. In making the decision Mittelstadt said: “The current administrative team has done a remarkable job in the wake of the loss of Principal Tom Russell. The process to find his successor has to be a deliberate one and this action allows us all time to find the right person to lead FPC into future years.”
