“Some freezing drizzle may be possible across mid-state region late this afternoon and tonight,” according to an NWS alert. “With roads that continue to be wet this afternoon through tonight as temperatures remain or fall to below freezing, patches of ice may form on roads, especially secondary non treated roads.
“Please exercise caution while driving on area roadways through tonight.”
Update, 12:28 p.m.:The Ice Storm Warning for Montgomery, Robertson, Stewart and Houston counties has been canceled.
