An Arkansas man is proving that age is just a number by shoveling snow for his neighbors at age 92. Leroy
Kostka
was hard at work when it was just three degrees outside, but that didn’t stop him from clearing Jen
Sheridan’s

“Everyone should have a 92-year-old neighbor-hero who brings a snow shovel and shovels your driveway and front porch,” she writes in a Facebook post. Kostka, a World War II Air Force veteran, and his wife, Anni, have lived in Bella Vista for nearly 30 years and their neighbors couldn’t be happier.

On Thursday, Google searches for how to stay safe while shoveling snow spiked in the U.S., as people appeared to investigate how to move snow without hurting their backs, or exacerbating heart problems.
DES PLAINES, Ill. (WLS) Jet City Coalition was founded in November 2020, and has already had a successful coat drive. Monday night and Tuesday they were out and about, clearing sidewalks and driveways, digging out neighbors who can t clear their own snow.
With each push of his shovel, founder Kevin Murphy is one step closer to fulfilling his mission to give back to his hometown of Des Plaines.
Jet City Coalition lends a hand to people in the northwest suburb, and right now means digging out anyone who can t deal with their own snow, free of charge. Just trying to show people around there that we love them, and take this burden on to inspire others to do the same, Murphy said.
