It’s hard to tell how serious Graham Weston was three years ago when he proposed that the University of Texas at San Antonio sell its downtown campus to another higher ed institution, one that had gumption.
Maybe he was just spit-balling.
“I think I was just trying to express that it seemed to us like it was without a champion and not focused on, loved or cared about,” said the co-founder of the cloud-computing company Rackspace Technology. “It didn’t really seem like there was any real effort afoot to do the hard work to unlock its potential.

Pinkerton s, a well-known BBQ spot in Houston has announced it will open their San Antonio location this Saturday, Feb. 13, according to the owner s Twitter post.
Grant Pinkerton, the owner of Pinkerton s BBQ posted a video on his Twitter page of the famous Pinkerton s ribs and brisket getting sliced with the video reading Texas BBQ is king and No one does beef like the Lone Star State.
Grant Pinkerton made good on his word after previously stating the downtown location would be ready to open in February but was unable to provide an exact date.
