Howard Miller Public Library to host weekly park pop-ups The library announced the series last week. Months ago, we were trying to figure out what summer might look like for libraries and library programming, said library director Heather Wood-Gramza.  We thought this would be a great way to engage families and children of all ages with really good, quality learning opportunities. The series will feature performers and traveling shows, in addition to home-grown programs. Those are things we ve done in the past and we thought would translate well outdoors, Wood-Gramza said. Visitors will also be able to check out materials through Howard Miller s Book Bike, an initiative launched in 2018 to bring children s books, information and library cards to various events.
