Gunmen Kill Cousin of Slain Journalist Bismillah Aimaq Adel
Unidentified gunmen on Wednesday night killed the cousin of Bismillah Aimaq Aimaq Adel, a journalist in Ghor and the head of a local radio network in the province, who was killed in an attack by unidentified gunmen on the first day of this year.
Adel’s father has said that his nephew was serving as a security guard for Ghor hospital and is the fifth member of his family who has been killed by the gunmen associated to Amanullah Bek.
Meanwhile, the governor of Ghor said that a delegation has been dispatched to Ghor to investigate the murder of Adel s family members. However, there are reports about what the delegation has found.
Bismillah Aimaq was a journalist in Ghor and the head of a local radio network in the province who was killed in an attack by unidentified gunmen on the first day of this year.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) and women rights forums Tuesday condemned the remarks made recently by Prime Minister Imran Khan on the causes of sexual violence and rape, terming them ‘factually incorrect, insensitive and dangerous’.
In a statement, the Human Right Commission of Pakistan said it was appalled by Prime Minister Imran Khan s remarks linking the incidence of rape to obscenity. This is an unacceptable behaviour on the part of a public leader, said the body in a statement. Not only does this betray a baffling ignorance of where, why and how rape occurs, it also lays the blame on rape survivors, who, as the government must know, can range from young children to victims of honour crimes.
Siawash’s Family Rejects Saleh’s Claim of Arresting Killers
The family of former TOLOnews presenter Yama Siawash on Wednesday rejected First Vice President Amrullah Saleh’s claim that security forces have arrested an 11-member Taliban cell responsible for numerous bombings including murder of former Afghan journalist Yama Siawash.
“It all started with a tip from an informant and enabled Kabul police department to identify, locate and apprehend an 11 member Talib terror cell responsible for numerous bombings including murder of iconic Yama Siawash on Nov 7. Dozens of sticky bombs and IED found in their caches,” Saleh tweeted.
“We have invited media community, human rights organizations, civil society activists and advocacy groups to see the files, interview the terrorists and fulfill the wish of the grieving families,” he said.
