It happened shortly before 5 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate near Towne Street in the city s Bond Hill neighborhood. While no one was struck by gunfire, police say a car on the interstate was damaged. Police did not specify if that vehicle was targeted, or if it was a random occurrence.The driver of the vehicle struck told police that the gunfire came from another car.
