John Littlewood was bludgeoned to death in his own home FORENSIC evidence showed how a man was repeatedly hit with a hammer when he was attacked in his own bed. John Littlewood suffered several blows to the head which splattered blood around his bedroom. Teesside Crown Court also heard how the 36-year-old did not die instantly from his injuries and could have taken up to four hours for him to die. Forensic officer John Newell said the distribution of blood around the room showed the attacker delivered the first blow from one side of the bed before moving to the other side to deliver further blows to the prone victim.
RICHMOND, Ind. There was no doubt Friday the Wayne County Drug Task Force had visited a South B Street residence.
Task force officers left their calling card. Two signs, one in a window and one on the door, announced they had closed another drug house.
Travis Charles Reed, 40, was arrested inside the west half of a duplex in the 1100 block of South B Street, according to a news release. He had been the target of a task force investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine.
The task force had executed controlled buys of methamphetamine from Reed, and that enabled officers to receive an arrest warrant for Reed on two Level 3 felony charges of dealing methamphetamine. SWAT team members executed the warrant Friday at Reed s residence, which is just a couple of blocks from Vaile Elementary School and a little more than a block from Tenth Street Park.
