ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) The pandemic has taken a toll on all of us, especially frontline workers who have been battling the virus head on.
A panel of Mayo Clinic healthcare workers from Florida, Arizona and the Midwest shared their experiences in an online forum Tuesday. I would say this year has been a bit of a rollercoaster, said Carly Windschitl, a COVID-19 Progressive Care unit Registered Nurse at Mayo Clinic s Arizona campus.
Whether it s in an office behind a desk, in a lab, or working in a hospital room, every role of the healthcare field has been crucial during the pandemic.
Julie Mackey Cornutt, 57, Southside, AL, died Saturday, December 12, 2020. Visitation will be at Collier-Butler Funeral Home beginning at Noon on Thursday, December 17 with services to follow at 2pm.
Julie was a retired Registered Respiratory Therapist with a green thumb and a heart of gold. She loved deeply and fought fiercely for the people in her life. She enjoyed tending to her flower beds and plants, trading with her friends at Rainbow City Hall and searching for treasures at area thrift stores. It was her special joy to find a unique “surcee” to share with those she cared for that let them know she was thinking of them. Her generous spirit and kind soul will be greatly missed.
